Unlike flat pack, this is a lovely solid piece of furniture made from solid oak wood, and kept in great condition by it's original owners. With it's beautiful ornate carvings and smooth oak top it's a stunning and unique piece. I have given this dresser 2 coats of white primer and undercoat, then 3 coats of Estate Eggshell Farrow & Ball in the popular shade Cornforth White, a gorgeous neutral silvery white which suits every decor.

I have painted this piece'solid' and will provide you with a small sample pot of paint for any future possible touch ups. Finished with Colron Clear Matt Varnish to protect this for everyday use.

Farrow & Ball Eggshell Paint gives a slight sheen to the overall finish, very professional and clean. I sanded back the dresser's beautiful underlating solid wood top to reveal the exceptional solid oak grain, I then buffed using a combination of soft waxes, which really highlights all of the natural grain and adds some depth of colour to the wood.

This also helps to ensure this is protected and endurable for everyday use and provides the wood with a lovely sheen. A very stunning piece of furniture produced by Webber Furniture, very highly regarded and sought after. This dresser features 4 doors and 4 drawers central to the unit. The drawers are solid and dovetail jointed and run smoothly. The top rack has 2 glazed and leaded cabinets which open to reveal a plate groove to the base and a removable shelf. The middle section has wonderful carvings which reflect the carvings on the base doors, giving this dresser a lovely cottage style appeal. Inside each of the base cupboards you'll find a shelf in one and a divided shelf with 3 smaller spaces in the other, so plenty of room for all your extra bits and bobs and storage. This also has it's original cast iron decorative hammer hinges and handles which stand out beautifully against the paintwork.

The dresser sits on a cradle base. A solid, robust and exceptionally well-made dresser, and if collecting I will help you load as this piece is quite heavy. Separates into to 2 sections for ease of transportation. I say this many times, but this really does look better than the photographs depict, and viewing is welcome and highly recommended by appointment, just message me (Leanne).

Of course, there may well be a few tiny drips and brushmarks as I do paint every item by hand, no spray paints are used here! I try to use the original fixings, but if this is not possible, I will source good quality replacements. As we all know, preloved items are not always perfect though, and any dings and dents add to the charm, and some are even intentional for the'shabby chic' look. I like to use Farrow & Ball Estate Eggshell as I find it gives a very smooth and professional finish, and of course it has a wonderful range of subtle colours to choose from, but have recently moved onto the acclaimed Annie Sloan also, to give my items a varied feel and to appeal to everyone's taste, I love them both!
